Memorial at Lake Washington for Grandpa Horsley

Grandma Marie brought a rose from the garden and Grandpa's picture so he could be there with all of us.

On July 11, 2009, we met together as families at Lake Washington to have a small memorial service and spread our Grandpa Horsley's ashes. It was a beautiful day and I know Grandpa would have so enjoyed the day with us...actually, I know he was there with us that day in spirit. In this picture from left to right are: Savannah Horsley, Lillie Dempsey, Noah Dempsey, Mark Dempsey, Linda Horsley, Marie Horsley, Maya Horsley, Abigail Dempsey, Melissa Dempsey, David Horsley, Ashton Horsley, Jacob Horsley, Ethan Horsley, Avery Nunley, Alexander Horsley, Kerri Horsley, Ninzel Dempsey, and Paul Horsley.

Hugs between Ninzel and cousin, Avery Nunley.

Grandma Marie Horsley and Lillie Dempsey enjoy food from the picnic we had at the lake.

Grandpa Horsley has several great-grandchildren who love and miss him too. Pictured here are Savannah and Jacob Horsley, two of six children that Paul and Kerri Horsley have in their family.

My dad, David Horsley, holds baby Ashton Horsley, Paul's youngest child and Mark, my brother-in-law, married to my sister, Melissa, holds his son, Noah Dempsey.
