More Valentine Moments

For those of you that know me well, you would know that my favorite holiday is Valentine's Day. I love it more than Christmas! Today, I received a surprise Valentine from my sister, Melissa, even though she lives over 600 miles away from me. I received a phone call from my close girlfriend, Tammie, asking what I was doing today and, of course, I was cleaning my house because it's Saturday :) Anyway, no more than a 1/2 hour later Tammie shows up on my doorstep with a vase full of beautiful pink roses, a box of See's chocolates (Mayfairs, California Brittle and Orange Creams, of course!) and a very cute Valentine card. Melissa had secretly contacted Tammie earlier in the week to give all of this to me today. Wow, I am so blessed to have such loving family and friends. I hope you all of a special moment like I did today. And Melissa, thank you so much for making my day. YOU ROCK!

First Winter Formal

Aren't they cute??

I just wanted to share my good lookin' boys. They went to Winter Formal for Enterprise High School at the Shasta Builders Exchange. They both looked so handsome before they left out the door. Zach took a date and they had professional pictures taken. I can't wait until they come in!

My Surrogate Sisters

I am so blessed to have surrogate sisters in my life. I do have the privilege of having fabulous sisters in my own family but when they can't be near me, then my great sister friends come to the rescue :) Lisa, Heather, Kim, Tammie, Dana and I spent a restful and peaceful weekend on the coast in Brookings, Oregon. It is yet another beautiful place in the world where you are able to escape everyday life. We read books, slept (sometimes!), watched movies, and talked until the cows came home. We laughed, cried, and shared great conversation. What more can you ask for?
